St Marys Merlin in new position
Day 5 was all about the Pipits. First finding
a Water Pipit on our way to Porth Hellick, Rock Pipits were in many locations
and two Richards Pipits were at the airport with a Black Redstart & 7
Skylark.
At High Moors the top
billing went to a Jack Snipe that showed beautifully for us . Also recorded
were 2 Teal, 7 Snipe, & 4 Moorhen.
We did try Wryneck a number of times but the bird was not seen again.
