Wawing kinda winter

This winter has witnessed a significant arrival of Waxwings from Scandinavia. It's been several years since there were so many to observe. Despite being away over New Year's, the birds remained visible around the Midlands. I had the opportunity to observe a sizable flock in both Malvern and Harborne.
