Here are the best of the rest from our week in Shetland. We were very lucky in that we observed Orca, Arctic Warbler, Verry, Red-breasted Flycatcher, Snow Bunting, Short-toed Lark, Cattle Egret, Snowy Owl, Black Guillemot, Great Northern Diver, Subalpine Warbler, Twite, Bluethroat, Kittiwakes, Barnacle Geese, Wheatear, Scaup, Wigeon, Teal, Whooper Swan, Citrine Wagtail, a host of passage waders, Otters and Seals.
Staying in Lerwick was most definatley a better choice despite the accomodation not being as much as luxary as our previous visit. It was just nice to be more central and have access to more facilities, we even went swimming one evening.
