After a hectic morning twitching the River Warbler & Adonis Blue I retreated to the boundary to watch Gussy with the family. Whilst Gussy tonked a quick fire 57 I noticed a large butterfly on the boundary edge. Worth a look I thought, and there was my first Painted Lady of the year. Butterfly 28 in the bag, happy day. Quite a day.........
