Our best weather day of the trip although very windy still. I decided to have a big walking day and cover as much of the island as I could. I noted a Mistle Thrush & a handful of dark Icelandic Redwings around the stables before heading down to Water Mill & Pelistry Coves. I had a peaceful hour here watching a handful of portpoises and 50+ Gannet feeding offshore.

Six Greenshank & 6 Teal were on the pool but viewing was difficult with the hides being closed for COVID.

The best bird of the day was no doubt a Snow Bunting that took over a hour to find but then treated me to some fantastic views. For me personally it's always putting in that extra bit of work to be spolit like this. The bird barely gave us a second glance as it fed amongst the long grass before jumping up onto a large boulder for a drink. Love moments like this.....
